Hi, I want to put a restriction on attachments based on type and size (>1MB). The type must be pictures so I've set a filter with extensions like *.jpg, *.png...
First question: If I set the content filter to check the attachment content will it look for that type of files inside .zip for example? It will check inside .doc files for images for example? The rule will be triggered if there is a mickeymouse.jpg as attachment?
Second question (most important): Users have a logo in the signature. The size of the original logo inserted in the signature is about 2MB. Usually after the mail have been sent the size of the mail is about 10KB. So a compression or something similar happens before the mail is sent. Now: why these mails trigger the MSMSE content filter? Which is the criteria that MSMSE uses to estimate the size of a file?
