Wow, I've seen posts talking about the DWH tmp problem from 2007. The staff says yes we've screwed up but here is an arcane and time consuming method that you can try that MAY work. If I had a client contact me about a problem I was accountable for and I told them to try to fix it themselves, I would get fired so quick I would be unemployed before lunch. If it took me 6 and a half years, I would be barred from the industry as incompetent. So here are my question to Symantec
1) Are you lazy? Figure most everyday individuals won't understand your explanations so you'll indemnify yourselves through confusion and ultimately apathy?
2) Are you incompetent? 6 years and still no solution (that is directly delievered to the customer)? I paid you to figure this out, if I have to do it all myself I want a stipend from Symantec. We can pinpoint to the micrometer where a satellite will orbit in space but your 'experts' can't stop a temp file from creating itself and then have the very same program that just wrote it alert us of it. Laughably inept.
3) You just don't care? I'm going with door #3, fact of the matter is, if you really wanted this fixed you would've found a way.
Congratulations on hanging on to your jobs in a 7.6% unemployment era; you are all expendable in my book. I think Siri could've responded better than you all.
PS Good luck competing in an ever increasing and advanced global market place, I see how this movie ends.
