How to Protect a Win2008 Server ?

Hello,

We have bought a licence of Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition 2013.

We installed the SEPM (Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager) successfully on this server.

As we own only 1 Windows Server 2008 computer to protect, we would like to know :

1. Is our Windows Server 2008 already protected by the fact SEPM is installed on it ?
2. Or, what steps are necessary  to have this Windows Server 2008 protected ?

In other words : no server/client in our case : just a single computer to protect (this single computer is our Windows 2008 Server!)
