Clients cannot communicate with new Site Server

I need a solution

Hello,

I have just setup a new Site in SEPM and am having trouble getting clients to talk to the new server.

I setup a test Group with a test Management Server List to get clients to redirect to the new server.

There is an entry for the FQDN of the server as well as the IP address.

Unforunately, The clients do not connect, in the debug logs of clients I get these messages:

<ParseErrorCode:>12007=>The Server name could not be resolved.

<ParseErrorCode:>12029=>The attempt to connect to the server failed.

The more annoying thing is that I performed the same migration on Clones in a development environment and it all worked fine.

From the client, I can ping and telnet the new site server.

I have tried messing around with turning windows firewall off or adding port exceptions etc and that has changed nothing.

We are running SEPM 12.1.2015.2015 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
