live Update not working on SEPM

HI All

            I have installed SEPM 12.1 3 on windows 2008 64 bit OS. When I try to use live update for defination update from SEPM console it gives an error code-4 . So I tried to update sepm using jdb file but when I copy the jdb file to the proper location it starts processing and after 1 minute it becomes a .err extention and updation fails.

tried to uninstall and reinstall live update but still same issue.

But I am able the update the sep client through live update installed on the same machine. Its only the sepm having trouble while updating using live update or using jdb file.
