Symantec Protection for Sharepoint and SPE 7.0.2

In the implementation guide for Symantec Protection for Sharepoint 6.0.4; SPE 7.0 is referenced several times. But there is nothing online about SPS and SPE 7.0.2?

Can SPS connect to the SPE 7.0.2 that comes with SPE for NAS?

Is it by the way possible to use the same SPE server for both Sharepoint and NAS?
