Hello all -
We've got a SEP 12.1.4 64-bit client installed on a Win 7 Pro 64-bit machine. We started evaluating Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 and had difficulties getting HTTPS pages to load. Is anyone award of any glitches with the SEP browser IPS (or SEP in general) and IE 9, 10 or 11?
The only way we could get HTTPS pages to load was to uncheck "warn if changing between secure and not secure mode". The HTTPS pages would load then, but we had to disable the warning (which never appeared when checked). The warning is a company security standard so we need to have it.
We spent a lot of time resetting IE 11 settings and experimenting with different IE settings (including disabling the SEP browser add-on) for HTTPS sessions without success. Never could get the "warn if changing between secure and not secure mode" setting to work if opening an HTTPS session. No warning message, nothing but a blank screen....
I'm getting off topic a little bit here, but can anyone offer suggestions on which version of IE plays nice with Win 7 and SEP? Our production workstations are running IE 8 which is somewhat dated.
Thanks,
Wally
