I need a solution
This seems to be a continuous issue that Symantec Endpoint Protection is having, both with the Windows 2008 servers and Windows 7 clients. The Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.3 and 12.1.4 blocks the updates from Symantec, both automatically and manually applied. The only solution is to reboot the systems, which is problematic in a live environment as this can only be done in scheduled maintenance windows.
