Howdy,
Our SEPM has not updated content for 2 weeks now. It did this about a month ago, and I was able to get the SEPM to finally update, but this time, I cannot.
I have removed and re-installed LiveUpdate, cleaned up definitions, downloaded the latest jdb file, nothing seems to want to get the updates loaded. If I run luall.exe, live update will run, but usually fails with no reasoning on the antivirus definitions (23 and 64 bit). Many times though, no error is even reported, yet definitions do not show a change - SEPM is stuck on 10 Jan 2014.
When I download the jdb file and place it where it belongs, it processes right away and content is created where it belongs. If I watch that directory, numbered folders are created, even one associated for the latest definition (for example, a "C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Inetpub\content\{07B590B3-9282-482f-BBAA-6D515D385869}\140127002" is created, then it disappears. All the other definition folders disappear as well, except anything 10 Jan 2014 and older. All folders later than 10 Jan 2014 remain.
I currently have the SEPM set to only maintain one revision (it was 30, which is where I will set it back to once the defs get working again).
