Vontu migration from 32 bit OS TO 64 BIT

Hi ,

We are in the process of migrating our DLP 11.5.1 ( 32 bit ) & Oracle 11.2.0.3 ( 32 bit )  to 64 bit platform.

Steps we believe we will follow are as follows :

1. Cold backup 32 bit Oracle DB - 11.2.0.3

2. Install new 64 bit OS

3. Install 32 bit Oracle DB - 11.2.0.3 on new 64 bit platform

4. Perform Restore

5. Install Appllication to connect to the new DB.

The question I have here is in the 3rd step does Oracle DB have to be 32 bit or it can also be 64 bit ???

Remember we currently have 32 bit oracle 11.2.0.3.
