SEP 11.x migration

Hi there,

I get a project to migrate a SEP 11.x from server2003 (32 bit) to server 2008 (64 bit), with different IP and hostname. I have gone through many docs but couldn't find that it is ok to replicate from a 32 bit OS to 64 bit OS or not. Is it ok to migrate before the server DC promotion? And is there any other thing I have to mind?
