SEP 12Ru4 how to monitor autoupgrade process

dear guys

I have 7000 client ( 30% SEP 12 RU4 , 70 % SEP 12.x older version ) . How do i monitor & control auto upgrade process ?

For ex : i want to know where location SEPM put the package into client ? how that package work ? what time SEPM put finished ? how to pause that process if i had started.  In some case , on SEPM , i see some client have same version with the package I deployed and the client  show " the file Copied " , i think if target is the same version so SEPM will skip that client . Is it something wrong ?
