I need a solution
Has anyone tried or know if there would be any issues if the current partition SEP was installed on, say D: (not the OS drive), was moved to a new D: drive that would be on a new hard disk.
Process wise I envision this following a process:
create a new partition on the hard disk labelling it as say E: /
shutting down SEPM services /
copy the data on D: (where SEPM is installed) with permission to E: /
unassociatte D: labell to original partition /
change drive letter on E: to D: /
start up SEPM services /
Is anyone aware if the SEP server software has any special protection, say using drive signature references in the registry etc.... / or something that will lock data on the original D: SEPM install to prevent you from moving it?
