Does Auto Protect Scan Files Introduced by Automated Processes?

Hi all,

I understand the functionality of Auto Protect and how it scans files when a user accesses, moves, and creates files. Does Auto Protect do the same thing with files created, moved, downloaded, etc. that we introduced by an automated process? This could be a script, a service, or application performing a function.

We have some servers that are experiencing file corruption issues and are trying to determine if Auto Protect could be the issue. On these servers, there are no schedule scans occuring so we can remove that from the equation.
