PGP Desktop Encryption stopped at 99.2%

My PGP desktop is attempting to encrypt my internal disk but it remains stopped on 99.2 percent.  If I hit the resume button it instantly stops itself again with no progress made.  I attempted the solution posted in this  thread but the encryption immediately stopped itself again.  Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?
