Hello All , I have about my 250 clients which are running on SEP 12.1.2 when I try to open the SEP client UI in the system tray a pop up comes saying
"Symantec Enpoint Protection cannot open because some Symantec service are stopped." so when I see the services in Services.msc all of its services are set to auto and running if I try to telnet from this endpoint to the SEPM then its succuesful. Even if I try to search for the client IP in the SEPM console then it doesn't appear. These clients were deployed using SCCM.
I even deployed a client package/Communication update from the SEPM console it showed that the package was deployed succuesfuly but even that doesn't started the service on the endpoint. Since there are 250 endpoints so I cannot manually run a repair on each and every endpoint to fix this issue.
Please suggguest how can I start the service on these dead clients. If I deploy a new package of SEP 12.1.4 MP1 on these dead endpoints via SCCM would this resolve this issue and they would come back online ? Thanks.
