PGP decryption using Recovery bootdisk (10.2).. no progress

My laptop HD recently crashed (would enter my PGP password/phrase, accepts it, screen clears but won't get to Windows splashscreen), and have opted for the PGP Recovery Disk route to recover..

I booted from the CD image yesterday, pressed 'D' to decrypt, and it's been over 15hrs now, with no 'progress' wording on the screen (no % left notice, nothing.). The disk light is solid on (not flashing). Should I give it a few more days, or did the decryption hang from the start? I would've expected some type of progress alert on the screen (eg. 99% left, or something)...
