IPS without AV

Hello,

I'm looking at a client package for ultra light computer and I only need to have IPS and Device Control.

No probleme for Device Control but IPS needs Antivirus component. I don't want Antivirus...

Is it possible ?

Is it possible to create the package and remove the vdefs.zip files and be sure it won't be downloaded from Liveupdate or SEPM when client installed ?

If the Antivirus componenet is really needed, do I need to have a policy disabling all its options ?
