Hopefully this is very easy to answer! I have 3 batches of SEP licences (so 3 different Serial Numbesr) registered on my SEPM server, all for the same customer. 2 of them are due to expire soon:
SNexample1 - 3 licences, all in use - expires 15/09/14
SNexample2 - 15 licences, all in use - expires 14/10/14
SNexample3 - 177 licences, 10 in use - expires 05/09/15
Due to our customers requirements, the 3rd batch of licences we bought for them (i.e. the 177 seats) should be enough to cover the upcoming installs we're rolling out, along with the existing machines which have been in use for some time.
What I want to know is, if I just leave the first 2 batches of licences to expire, will SEPM automatically assign the clients a new licence from the available seats from the most recent batch or do I need to do something to make this happen?
